Get your documents together
A valid CNIC showing you are 18 or over, a medical certificate from an authorised medical practitioner, passport-size photographs, and the paid fee voucher. You apply in your own district, so Abbottabad residents apply in Abbottabad.

Apply for the learner permit
Submit your application at a licensing centre or Police Khidmat Markaz, where your data, fingerprints and photograph are captured. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also offers a digital route through its provincial app.

Use the waiting period to learn properly
The learner permit is held for roughly 42 to 45 days before you can move to the full licence. This is the window our 15 and 30 day courses are designed to fill, so you arrive at the test having actually driven, not just waited.

Prepare for the test
Road signs, controlled starting and stopping, steering, turning, reversing and parking. We practise each of these on the kinds of roads you will be tested on, with a female instructor beside you.

Return to the licence branch and take your test
Book your slot, complete the required verification, and sit the test. The licence itself is issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Traffic Police, not by us.

Drive independently afterwards

Licence Training for Women in Abbottabad & Mansehra
Maryam Driving School operates from two locations: Abbottabad, near Jadoon Plaza, Phase 2, and Mansehra, near Township. Learners in either city, or the areas around them, can train for their licence with us, with free pick & drop from home included in every course.
Because applications are made in your own district, women in Abbottabad apply in Abbottabad and women in Mansehra apply in Mansehra. Your training happens locally too, on roads you already know, which makes the test far less intimidating.
