Driving School in Abbottabad

Maryam Driving School has taught women to drive in Abbottabad since 2016. Every lesson is with a female driving instructor, free pick and drop from your home is included in nearby areas, and admission is completed online from home.

Abbottabad location: Near Jadoon Plaza Phase 2 Rd, Jinnahabad, Abbottabad 22020. Led by Mam Maryam.

Abbottabad is not an easy place to learn. The roads climb and fall, junctions arrive on slopes, parking spaces are tight and traffic through the busier stretches moves unpredictably. A learner who has only practised on flat, empty ground is not ready for any of it.

That is why training here is built around the actual conditions. You start with the controls somewhere quiet, spend real time on hill starts and slope control rather than treating them as an afterthought, and move onto ordinary Abbottabad roads once the car itself no longer takes all your attention.

Maryam Driving School has worked only with women in this city since 2016. The school is led by Mam Maryam, every instructor is a woman, and the Abbottabad location is near Jadoon Plaza Phase 2 Rd, Jinnahabad, Abbottabad 22020.

What Beginner Training Covers

The order matters as much as the content. Each stage only begins once the one before it is comfortable.

The school teaches women and girls only, and every lesson is taught by a female driving instructor. This is not a service offered when an instructor happens to be available — it is how the school has worked since 2016.

The practical reason is straightforward. A learner who is comfortable says "I did not understand that" out loud and asks to repeat a manoeuvre. A learner who feels awkward stays quiet and carries the gap forward for weeks. For many families in Abbottabad it is also what makes driving lessons possible in the first place.

If you would rather read more about that specifically, the ladies driving lessons page goes into it in detail, and the female driving instructor page explains how a lesson is actually run.

Travel, not driving, is what ends most courses early. A 15 day course means fifteen return journeys, and if each one has to be arranged privately the course quietly stops after the first week.

Free pick and drop from your home is included in every course for learners in nearby areas of Abbottabad, arranged with the same female staff who teach you. There is no separate charge and no per-lesson fare.

Coverage depends on where exactly you live, so confirm your area on WhatsApp at 0313 053 6070 before you enrol. Full details are on the pick & drop page.
